Shower Door

I have a 2017 RPOD 180 Trailer with a Shower Curtain. I want to get rid of the Curtain and replace with a Shower Door. I have contacted Forest River as well as companies that make shower doors to no avail.

I sure would appreciate information to direct me to a company that manufactures Shower Doors.

It's not rocket science to replace, I just need to find a company that has the Shower Doors.

Thank You Jere
  • Thank you all for the suggestions. Stripit suggested a door that works great for a "Straight Door". I called that company and they do not make a curved Door at this time. I'm aware of the possible weight factor and I'm not wanting "Glass". Also I read an article in "Trailer Magazine to use a curved Swimming Noodle to keep the Curtain away from you while showering. It works quite well. I'd just like a curved lightweight door. Merry Christmas to all of you. Jere

If your shower curtain is billowing toward the user get a better curtain. PM me for what we use that is solid on the bottom but clear toward the top for viewing.

We replaced our home curtains with doors. Loved them at first but after several years my wife hates them with a passion (it was her idea). Impossible to get the mold out of all the corners/crevices. We wish we had shower curtains so we could just toss them and replace.

But yeah, Home Depot/Lowes sells a good selection and should have what you want.

We removed the small entry sliding glass door in a Class C we had and tried the shower curtain for a while. Then found this company and bought the retractable shower door. WOW, easy to install, worked great and we were very pleased with the look and operation. Give this company a look sliding door
We had something very similar to that in our last 5er and I loved it.

Are you sneaking a peek while she's in the shower, lol.

  • Is the area odd shaped...in particular the rpods have a rounded roof. There are plenty of RV shower stalls available. A competent RV tech should be able to swap that out.
  • I would have you make the forethought of realizing that RV walls are not like a brick & stick house capable of holding heavy shower doors. The ones Stripit mentioned are only 6 lbs, should work.
