- SidecarFlipExplorer IIIProbably be like the new Ford Super Stupidity.. Stupidly priced. I'll Pass. If I want to drop a bundle on something, it will be something that appreciates, not depreciates.
Motor vehicles of any type are very poor investments. - chiefneonExplorerHowdy!
No thanks, no more Chevorlet for me. I had a 2005 5500 MDT Chevorlet. When they stopped making the MDTs and parts for them the last time I was done with them.

Chiefneon - ksssExplorerI am ready for these to get out. I had a 5500 4X4 Crew Cab for 10 years. I have been skating by with a 3500. I was told they were coming out in '18 not '19. I am hoping it is worth the wait.
- Bionic_ManExplorerI don't know how big is the 4500/5500 market is, but the margins must be healthy if you have GM getting back in.

Just bought a 2017 Ram 5500 at work. We need a 19,500# truck for what I do. The ONLY other option is Kenworth and Peterbilt. Our company always bought Fords but never again. If we could have waited we may have brought a new Chevy. Couldn't wait that is why we have the Ram.
So yes, I'd say GM is about to find an opening. - SidecarFlipExplorer III

Try Freightliner Business Class, not Paccar. Freightliner is the undisputed leader in medium duty cab and chassis trucks. You need to research before posting.... - jesseannieExplorerWhy do thy put the Zebra graphics on the prototypes? It doesn't make them invisible.
Jesseannie - wq93ExplorerCamo is used to hide some of the details and it also avoids the issue of having your soon to be released vehicle showing dirt, scratches, dents, etc. The test mules get a lot of abuse and the manufacturers don't want the first memorable images to clearly show the "war wounds" suffered during the test mule phase. It also avoids the need to use care in finishing and painting the test mule panels.
