Slide out issue on 2006 Rockwood Roo

Question

I am needing assistance with trying to realign the main slide (12 foot)on my camper. I cannot seem to find a way to disengage the gears from the tracks that the slideout rolls out  on. Supposedly there is sopme type of brake release on the motor unit but I cannot seem to locate mine. The left side of my slide out will not go flush against camper weall when slide is pulled back in. It remains out about 1 inch. I would appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

you can't locate the slide motor or you can't locate the lever? The motor should be under your sofa.  Does the slide have cables on the outside?
