One of the things I've been thinking about doing is replacing part of the top trim board on the interior side. This would take me up about 2 inches and it would seal completely. Look much better but would not solve the occasional water intrusion. I have been inserting round black pipe insulation in the crevasses around the slide out. This has worked for the most part. The rubber trim on the lower corner of the rear of the slide out pulls right off every time I stick it back on so I just got in the habit of sticking that insulation in that space. The reason I'm asking for ideas is that I bought a new awning for the slide and figured it was a good time to address this ongoing problem.
