DW goes around and opens and bleeds the hot and cold faucets and flushes the toilet. Good flow, no air, all is set. Open beer.
Later, DW says the hot water isn't hot, so I go to investigate. Yup, bypass valve still in winter position. WH is on electric by the way. Luckily, no damage was done. No way to begin a two-week trip.
