Those things looks good and very interesting when finished, but lot of hobbyist have no idea about amount of work involved.
I am mechanic turned General Contractor, so am probably the best qualified person for such job.
Years ago I was considering converting bus into motorhome. Yet I had SOME idea what it involves. Run into several projects where a guy bought old bus for $7000, spend 2 years working on it, putting $5000 into materials and when the project threatened the marriage, he was selling it for $4000.
I bought older conversion, meaning all I had to do was repairs.
Still replacing holding tanks, doing some corrosion repairs, upgrading electrical took 6 months full time as bussines was slow at the time.
So for those considering such thing BEWARE.
