Well, I've "opted" to retire at 66 (July of 2016).....can draw my max SS, wife is 2 yrs younger than I so she will do a little better also...I have 3 pensions, and we both have 401K's...I'm a Viet Nam vet, so I can go to a VA, (or die in a waiting room, not funny, but guess I'll see), will buy insurance for the wife.....Main reason I've waited is more personal, dealing with a daughter and two grand daughters that an ex-son-in-law has dropped the ball on..so, though, my wife and I were "empty nesters", ready to pull the trigger, now we're back to a daughter, and two grand daughters living with us for the last year and a half...until......SO, though some think they may know my financials and think they know what I can and can't do...I've opted to help raise two grand daughters (ages 10 and 6), and support my daughter for a bit..The job I have is a BIG PLUS at this time.....wasn't anyone's business, but I'm also debt free . just trying to support grand daughters and daughter, (get's expensive).....especially with school starting up again...(even had to buy the daughter a car to get around in)....yep, just trying to be a good dad and take care of family....if something changes, maybe I'll retire earlier...
again to the one that seems to want to drag out how many new trucks that I've owned.. that thinks they know more about me and my financials than "I" do:R, sorry, but you're sadly mistaken in your assumption's...but if it makes you feel warm and fuzzy berating me for reasons you have no clue about, cause I sure don't understand your obsession
....glad I could make your day:)
