South Texas

We drove down from Alaska in October and have been visiting relatives around south Texas for the last couple of months. We've only seen a couple TC's. was walking thru a supermarket parking lot in Uvalde, Tx the other day and spotted a Northern Lite from British Columbia didn't see the owners anywhere, just thought it was kind of odd another TC'er from that far north in Uvalde
  • I suspect that the OP saw the rig of Kat and Roland of www.rvtrailsandtails.com. They should be in South Texas now as they left New Orleans a bit ago. They both write a good blog.
  • Edged and mowed the yard yesterday. Sprayed Round-up today.
Got a mediocre fishing report from a neighbor about Trinity Bay. Aired up the boat trailer tires and changed a couple lures out. I'll try Sabine Lake tomorrow. It's a brutal 73* as we speak. Surprised I haven't seen a snake lately. Satsumas and oranges are ripe.
Nobody around here knows what a TC is.
    But about August......
  • 72 in South Texas even as I speak. Trying to make my mind up if I want to go fishing.
  • Wish I could visit South Texas right about now. snow should be starting up here on East coast soon :(
but I got to go to work.
  • Yep! My wife is from that area. Her dad has an rv park. When we visit we use a spot and have never seen a TC there. Always a conversation starter.
