This is year 2 of running the Kumho tires and so far so good. I got them from Tire Rack, advertised as an ST tire. When they arrived they were marked as LT. I inquired about that and TR assured me they were manufactured for trailers. Whatever. They have the higher speed rating so I don't worry about running at 65. I've only pushed 70 when passing a kidney stone and I had to get somewhere for help fast. That's another camping story to forget...
How fast was the kidney stone going ?
Not fast enough...
Man, I hope you haven't jinxed yourself to having a kidney stone and having to endure the pain. :E
I can still recall the feelings I had passing the first one. The pain was so intense that when we reached the hospital, I bypassed the check-in procedure, went through the ER doors, and flopped on an exam bed. I seem to recall having my wallet in hand with health insurance card, credit cards, and cash. I alerted staff that everything was in order and I had the wherewithal to pay so just "knock me the f*&^ out". They eventually did.
I can't imagine driving myself to the ER. The Bronco I was in at the time must still have the grip marks in the dashboard.
