How long do you leave it on electric before deciding it isnt working? The RV refers cool much faster on gas. I run mine on electric for 24 hours before loading it for a trip.

She left it on over night and was still not cooling the next day. And she just told me that the outside electrical plug does not work either. Starting to wonder if they are both connected in some way?

I wonder if there is a wiring diagram available for this trailer? That would help.

Very possible that they are linked. Is there a gfci outlet tripped? I have read of them being in cabinets or under sinks. My bathroom is right next to the refer so that is very possible. Are there other items/plugs not working? Maybe take the outside cover off, unplug the refer, and plug it into a different cord going direct to the shore power pedestal. That would confirm whether the problem is in the trailer wires or if it is in the actual refer.

Locate the brand/model of your fridge. It's probably Dometic or Norcold, but should be obvious. Mine has a sticker inside that lists the model.

Then use www.google.com to locate a repair/owners manual. It should list a troubleshooting flowchart on how to test and what to repair/replace.

Try plugging the refrig. into an extension cord and then another 120v circuit. On my last trailer the built in receptacle for the refrig. was not connected to my circuit breaker panel.

Ya, I've had a gfci plugged thing tripped in the bathroom once. Took me a while to figure out why the kitchen outlet didn't work. Campers are often wired weird.
