Sway bars for travel trailers

If your F250 is 2011+ it already has electronic sway control. I have the equalizer bars on my tiny 3600lbs(+gear, full water) 24' trailer and never felt the electronic sway kick in.

We have an equal I zer hitch with our 35 foot trailer. Works great and so easy to connect. 2 bars, clips and done. Was watching a friend hook up today, 2 bars with chains then had to use bar to lock in, pins to hold in place, then 2 sway bars with 2 pins each on and on, seemed like to much for me. Towing with a super duty is a good start and helps with sway.

Thanks for the link. Can you feel the brakes when applied? How frequent is the application? Have you noticed excessive brake wear. Sorry if this looks like a hijack, it just sounds intriguing. Thanks!

For your long travel trailer you want to consider an electronic sway control. The resistance dampers are just that. they dampen sway, they don't elininate it. Direct link has developed a system that works great. I've been using one for a while.

We have Blue Ox Sway Pro. Very easy to hook up and quiet.

Very happy with it.

Either one will do the job, as long as it is rated for your tongue weight.
