I have managed to get 4 sites set aside for us at the koa in Leavenworth Washington for a winter gathering. actually, its 3 sites because im going of course. the sites will have power and water and all four sites are next to each other. That is a great area, you will have a blast. I wish our camper build would be done by then so we could join you.We ride snowmobiles in that area (Fish Lake, which is just a few miles from Leavenworth). If we get early snows this year maybe you could rent a snowmobile from the 59'r diner and join us for a trail ride.

I think it is about time to do it again. we are skiers so when the snow flies we are usually on the slopes.

Midwest Truck Camper Rally. Doug said average in Dec is 65. I didn't know he meant at least 6" of snow and 5F degrees. He is paying the price though - seems he is cleaning out for a colonoscopy unintentionally. :)

Post pictures from this event. We spent two weekends in Leavenowrth (one in ea Dec and Jan) last winter in our TC and loved it. Unfortunately the army sent to me AL a few months ago so we will not be able to attend this year. DW, kids, and I liked the area so much we are still looking for land in the vicinity.

Wish I could have made it to the winter gathering, but I'm booked up this weekend. Monday I head out at oh dark thirty to go to Pendleton, OR.

that's funny. yeah, we had just picked up our son from school and was making our way out of town. we arrived in Wilbur Washington a little bit ago. we will stay the night here and then head on in to Leavenworth tomorrow. we went through a little snow but nothing bad. as I sit here looking at the outdoor temp monitor it reads 13f, its 524pm. the campground owner says it should get to 1f tonight here. we are nice and toasty inside and im about to crack open a nice cold beer.

I reckon Rich is enroute now...... I saw him and his rig pull out on to Division Street about 3:15 ish this afternoon.
