Last night I tucked my rig into her spot for the winter. Lines are blown out and the pink stuff is in. her cupboards are empty and closets are clean. This sucks............

I have winterized but will be using my TT for dry camping during deer hunting season the last week of November. I set the heat at the lowest setting (52 degrees) and stay warm in my sleeping bag. I will have 3 of my thirty something daughters with me. Our biggest problem is condensation on the walls and windows, even with a window cracked open. No electricity other than my batteries which I keep charged using solar, unless it is cloudy then I break out the generator.

Sad to see,here in Sunny SoCal we are just gearing up for our Fall and Winter camping season,never had to winterize here.

That being said I have made many,many,many trips thru Windsor as a OTR truck driver on my way to Toronto. It is a delightful city,I was taken on a 2 hour tour once by a Taxi driver while broke down there and having to go to get money.

He described it as the Florida of Canada,being the southern most Canadian city. I know it can get really cold there,once while fueling to come back home the attendent told me that with the wind chill it was -60 degrees,and I believed him,I had a gallon of oil that that I wanted to put in the truck but it would not pour after being taken from inside the warm Truck stop outside to the truck.

I’m camping end of next week but I’m not gonna post any pics. I don’t want to rub it in. Couldn’t get another reservation til March because it’s Snowbird season.

3 plus years of owning my rig , have never winterized it but I use it all year, currently in northern Vermont having a blast.

Never winterized any rv I've owned. W'll be in ours in January and February. Head south.

Not winterized yet, still sleeping in it every night at home in the driveway. Still using water. Nights getting colder though, it blew some snow flakes last Thursday, got down to 20F at night. So far the advertised 4 season, zero degree temperature claim is true. Today, I'm going to wrap that one exposed water line that runs to the refrigerator ice maker though. Maybe keep water in the tanks a bit longer that way. I did flip on the power heaters for the tanks too.

winterized mine a month ago. We shut down after the first weekend of October. Good tho bad did. Been freezing weather.
