The tag line for us became "Trailer brakes first!". I searched multiple streaming platforms and couldnt find the movie. Found a DVD for $6 on fleabay. It had a lot of campy exagerations; but a lot of it was spot on accurate too!

Well then, how long was it?

M&D took us to see the movie at a drive in just outside of Big Basin Redwood State Park. Sky Meadows motel, snack shop and drive in. We were camping, of course. Motel is still there. Houses at former drive in 😞

Its a house trailer from that era ('40s/'50s). With a RV A/C on top it most likely has been retro'd to a modern RV travel trailer.

That was one of the greatest RV movies. The trailer was 36 feet long.

I went up the Whitney Portal Road featured in the film. A steep road with some 14 percent grade and 5 miles at 9 percent. Elevation at the top is 8389 ft.
