That was one of the greatest RV movies. The trailer was 36 feet long.

I went up the Whitney Portal Road featured in the film. A steep road with some 14 percent grade and 5 miles at 9 percent. Elevation at the top is 8389 ft.

The Merc couldn’t cut the mustard in the hills.
