- SoonDockinExplorer IILOL, we almost bought a NL recently. Good luck with the OR weather. Seems to snow every day there.

we plan to make the drive and pick it up next week.
From where to where?- greennoExplorerLast April we flew up to Oregon to look at some campers, found a dealer that had (4) of the ones we were interested in Arctic Fox, Northern Lite, Bigfoot, and Adventure. We decided on an 2019 AF 990 and picked out the options we preferred, put our 10% down and came back home. About 5 weeks later We drove up (San Diego to Portland) and picked her up. Spent a day loading up some supplies and made the drive south in about a week. A little over 1k miles one way. Just like Xmas for me so congrats on your new purchase.
- KKELLER14KExplorer IIMy only concern is that the difference between an 1140 and an 1150 is that in older ones, the vent hood over the stove does not vent outside through the wardrobe closet, it recycles the air inside. Not a good cooking idea.. I have not looked at new ones for some time and do not know if it is different today...but I literally traded my 1140 for an 1150 and I was happy to do so. Since I have owned both I feel it might be something you look at closely. I personally liked my 1150 way more. Less storage but the floor plan was much better IMHO. There is also a bench seat in front of the fridge and the wardrobe closet which is great for getting dressed, a really nice plus. Baths are tight depending on wet or dry...I highly suggest you compare the two in more detail before you take delivery and sign the paperwork. Not to pop a bubble but wish I had known this before....just passing it on and want you all to be informed and not have a regret. It is a big investment. Have you all been in an 1150? Find one if you haven't just to compare.
http://northwoodmfg.com/truck-campers/arctic-fox-camper/ - towproExplorerKeller, while the vent that exhales outside is nice, on my 990 I can only use it if I carry a ladder to be able to reach the vent to open it.

My main concern on the AF 1140 is the stove top right next to the dinette. Grease! - FireGuardExplorer IIGood choice.
I like that AF makes the black tank bigger than the grey.
It is much easier to dispose of Grey water and 43 gal black tank will last along time.
How is the quality and fit and finish on the new AF campers?
I had an 03 1140 and really liked the room. I had a delam problem on the nose but other then that is was a good TC.
They are heavy and solid.
