This is what Torklift calls service??? Ridiculous...

I've had my Fastguns for, oh, 10-ish years. A long time ago, someone apparently tried stealing them, but I have the Fastgun locks, and so all they succeeded in doing was busting the handle off of one of them. They must have tossed or kept the handle because it has been MIA since.

So, I'm on vacation this week. Since I'm only about a half hour from the Torklift factory and finally have some time on my hands, I thought I'd go down and see about buying a new handle for my busted Fastgun. Of course, I was fully expecting to have to chip in a few bucks for it, then take it home and weld it back on.

I went down to the factory and talked with Brandon. He proceeded to tell me my Fastguns were very old, and they don't make the handle for them any more. I can see it coming... I'm screwed, "uh boy, time to pony up for new ones." He goes in back and grabs a whole new set of Fastguns, in Arctic White to match my truck and camper. And yup, they're completely different. I go to grab my wallet, and he says "on the house". This is customer service??? I was expecting something a little more dramatic.

We go out to my truck and he proceeds to tell me he doesn't like the way my Superhitch looks, (which is just as old as my Fastguns) and comes out with all new revised braces, turnbuckles and brackets. Again, gratis.

This is what Torklift calls service?? Ridiculous..... What a waste of my time, make me drive all the way down there just to come home with a bunch of "warranty" free stuff--on purchases easily a dozen years ago.
.
.
And for those who don't get my sarcasm, yes, I'm joking when I say 'ridiculous'.
Thank you Torklift...

I also must say that Torklift has great service. I posted on this forum how I was not able to get factory made tie-downs for my new truck, neither HappiJac nor Torklift had made them yet.

Well a couple of weeks later, Sheryl from Torklift sent me a PM asking if she could help. She had seen my post. I told her that I had already talked with a rep earlier, but she said to give her the particulars of my truck and she would check on it again as they are always getting items in.

Well sure enough, she found that they had tested and approved a Torklift model for my truck.

I ordered these front tie-downs and just got around to installing them today, perfect fit!

I cannot believe that they have someone monitoring forum traffic, but I guess they do, and I am glad they do.

I wouldn't say they're expensive, you're just choosing to get what you pay for. We went for the best....

Torklift's stuff ain't cheap, but they have no real competition. I'm glad they haven't abused that by screwing over their customers and believe in customer service. I'm 100% happy with my products from them, even though they're expensive. I'm confident that I can get a lot of use out of them and that they will do the job, and that's what's really important. I only get so many vacation days from work and I'd rather save them for fun stuff rather than fixing things.

And I thought they went above and beyond when I got a ball cap in the mail for registering my frame mount tie downs!!!
Great products, great instructions and reasonably easy install.
The Super Hitch and Super Truss are in the truck box waiting for some warm weather so I can install them too.

Those of you towing heavy pin weight FW's or heavy tongue weight toy haulers, should look at the StableLoads before going to air bags. Torklift also has nice battery boxes, locking generator carrier and LPG locks for the trailer folks.

Hahaha, totally took the bait on that one, was coming in to be all indignant and talk about how Torklift has been great to us.

Great company, products, and people.

I got immediate responses from Torklift when I was looking for information on dealers and installation (wound up doing it myself and it was easy). By contrast, Happijack referred me to 6 "local" dealers that when I called, not ONE of them had even ever heard of Happijack and a couple never "got back to me" with information they said they'd dig up. Just as well as I prefer a secure, frame mounted system to one stuck into the sheet metal of my bed and the bumper. I'm a Torklift fan for life.

Fantastic customer service. What a novel concept.

I am not sure the company will survive with such an attitude. (Sarcasm key off)
