I'm getting ready to rotate the tires on my TT, and I was wondering what is the best way to do it. Should I:1) just swap the front to rear and rear to front on the same side of the TT2) swap front tire on driver's side with front tire on passenger side, and do the same with the rear tires3) swap front tire on driver's side with rear tire on passenger side, and rear tire on driver's side with front tire on passenger's sideScratching my head on this. Thanks

Not sure trailer tires get enough wear before they age out. Haven't really considered rotating them myself.

If there's uneven wear on any of them, then swap sides.Aside from that, I really don't see a need to rotate trailer tires.I always get my trailer tires balanced though.

We rotate every couple of years (due this year) and incorporate the two spares into the mix. The two right side move to the left side. The left side move to spares. The spares move to the right side.

If they unidirectional they should stay on the same side (move from front to back). If they are multidirectional then do the "X" rotation.

I was just going to post exactly this. I always thought radials should stay on the same side. At least with cars/trucks they should.

Check your owners manual, mine rotate side to side as well as front to back. I believe that most no longer recommend keeping them on the same side, and haven't for many years.

I was just going to post exactly this. I always thought radials should stay on the same side. At least with cars/trucks they should.

i count how many times i turn left, while DW counts our right turns. if there is a huge imbalance at the end of the summer, we switch the tires.

Using one of those on a trailer sounds like a recipe for disaster

Actually it's sized correctly for both diameter and load and it's on a steel rim. My regular trailer tires are mounted on aluminium 'mags' (not magnesium).

Ours is like that too but it's the same tire, just mounted on the cheaper steel rim.

Thanks for all the advice!
Since my tires are wearing evenly, I'm probably not going to rotate them. I just thought it might be helpful, but it seems that it really isn't necessary because everything appears "normal".
