Tires for Ram 3500

What are people using on their trucks for E range tires. I'm looking at replacing my Michelin M/S 2 as they are wearing quickly on the outside edges. I just replaced ball joints and think that was the cause but Discount Tire agreed to give me money off some new tires. Mine currently have 35,000 miles. I like the BF Goodrich all terrain KO2 but am concerned I won't get a lot of miles out of them either.

    Have an alignment done also. Granted I only run a 1500 I am looking at betting new shoes before Oct this year and that is one of my consideration tires. I have family that has ran them on their 2500 Chevy and they seemed to get food life out of them. But to be fair I bet that they spend 30% of their life on dirt and gravel roads.

    I had an alignment done also along with new axle u joints.

    Just installed Yokahama Goelander H/Ts and so far pleased. Really quiet and softer ride than the OE junk.

    Nitto Terra Grapplers wear well, hold big weight as Es and do well off road unless swampy. Hear good things about Goodyear Duratracs too.

    I have had great luck with Bridgestone Duelers... I just put LT265/70R17 Load Range E on mine...

    Don't blame the tires for a worn out or miss aligned front end!

    Here is a pic of my MS2's on the 11 RAM Dually with 40K on them. 80 front all the time 45 rear solo and 60 loaded with 5K pin.

    Michelin LTX series with several choices of tread design

    Or

    Bridgestone Duravis with two choices

    Nothing else will last as long in time or miles.

    I am running the Nitto Crosstec. I have about 15000 on them and not a sign of wear and they are a good ride.

    Finally, a review of that tire from someone running a heavy truck!

    :S I try to read up on possible tires by Internet searches for reviews, and seems so many have them on light weight vehicles like a Toyota or a Tundra or whatever.

    Sure does not do me much good with my 9,000 pound truck.

    Were the tires cupped before all of the front end work? granted I do not work in a tire shop but to have them cupping, or having uneven wear, would indicate that your front end is not correct.
