Tires for TV

I love my Falken Wildpeak ATs , much more quiet than the Nitto Terra Grapplers I had before and seem to be wearing better too. I think I will get 50k out of them. Great in the rain, pretty good in mud and snow. I have load range D on my half ton, more than I will ever need.

Just changed to Michelin LTX's... Had Nitto terra grapplers. Much better ride, quiet, more responsive steering. However, I did give up off road traction.

I am looking for something all weather. But it needs to be good for towing too.

I have had a lot of different popular tires on my Dodge Ram 2500 while pulling my TT but the Bridgestone Duravis m700 are by far the best tire I have ever put on my truck. They are a commercial grade tire that have great traction for a mild AT tire. They come factory on GM products. There are claims of over 50-60k towing heavy loads on the web. I have never got more than 20-25k out of any tire with regular rotations every 3k and rebalance every 6k. I have 5k on them now and I have no measurable wear. They are awesome in the snow. No more need to put in 4wd every snow storm here in Colorado. I really like these tires. Good luck.

I ran Michelin LTX M/S2s on my F-250. Strong sidewalls...
No squirming in curves. 40,000 miles and no sign of tread wear.

I recently traded... My new to me F-150 EB Screw came with Goodyear Wranglers. P rated. Too soft for heavy towing.
I'm ordering the LTX M/S2 for my 2012 EchoBoost tow vehicle.

I believe in the Michelin's... I put a similar set on my wifes Ford
Explorer. I like the way they drive and the way they handle on the road.

I'm enjoying the Made in the USA Crosstecs Nitto gave me to try. Good tires so far.

On my second set of Michelin LTX M/S2 and have over 105,000 miles with at least another 10,000 or 15,000 miles on my current set. No problems whatsoever. I will definitely buy another set when they need replacing. If I were off roading a lot I would probably consider something with more traction.

There is date code on tires, get the newest possible! I purchased some from agri-supply a couple of years ago. The first trip the following spring, blew three out of four! (btw, checked the pressure before the trip and after the first blown tire, good every time) Learned about the date code and discovered they were all about 6 years old when I purchased them. Purchased four more newly manufactured tires and so far so good.

Are you looking for a road tire for strictly towing, or something all-weather that will also be good in snow/mud?

For a street tire, I'd go with the Michelin LTX M/S2. No personal experience, but I've done a lot of research and these are always at the top of the reviews.

For my personal trucks, I do some mild offroading and deep snow, so I get something more aggressive. Have Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos on my half-ton. On my second set; the first set lasted ~50K miles, with ~15K of that being towing. Very pleased with the performance and poor-weather traction.

On my 3/4 ton, I have Goodyear Duratrac tires. They're marketed towards commercial snowplow customers. Very aggressive and blocky, but not noisy. Outstanding traction in mud, snow and ice. Dragged the TT down to AL over the Christmas holidays, 2000 mile round trip, and the tires did great. Downside - no treadwear warranty offered, but the reviews I've read give me reason to expect them to last 40-50K.
