Thanks for that info and photo. I like the look of those.
My LTX's have about 3/16" left - not enough for winter.
I didn't rotate enough to avoid uneven wear on my fronts - and I've found higher pressure helps to so I run 80psi in the fronts when loaded with the camper.

You're more than welcome.

I run 50 psi in the front and 45 psi in the rear when the truck is empty.

80 psi front and 70 psi in the rear with the camper on the truck.

I just put them on in Aug and only have about 12,000 miles on them.
I'm going to rotate them today for the second time when I change the oil and filter. I rotate my tiers every 5000 miles.

I am 100% happy with them.
They are wearing evenly and have a smooth quiet ride.
I haven't had them in "deep" snow but that's not what I bought them for.
Out on the hwy in snowy conditions they are awesome.

These are the sixth set of tires I've had on my truck and so far I like them better than any of the others.

I had BF with this thread in the past and they are noisy.
Probably good compromise for you guys, but I drive 95% in dry condition and I prefer to hear only radio or DW when I am driving.
The factory Michelins fit the bill, even I got stuck once with then on the beach.

I like your reasoning on the choice of the Agilis. I'm looking at replacing the OE Michelin FTX M/S2 that came on my F350 dually. Was thinking I'd go with an A/T tire like the Cooper Discoverer AT3 but perhaps the Agilis is a more practical choice. We live on a VT dirt road, travel extensively on forest roads but the reality is most miles are on paved (right sloping) secondary roads that wreak havoc on the right front tire.

How many miles do you have on the Agilis?
Are the wearing evenly/retaining balance?
Happy with handling in snow?
Please include a photo of your front right tread - Thanks

I haven't worked for over three years.

I don't like buying tires but buying them when I do works out best for me.

I actually got the best mileage out of these BG Goodrich, close to 50,000 miles. They were factory take-off from a E-250.

I drive about 30,000 miles a year.

I actually bought Chinese Sailung (?) 19.5 tires for my F450 and got honest 50,000 miles out of them.
But buying tires every year, if you are not making money driving doesn't sound right.

Not sure how you came up with that.

Hankook - manufacturing facilities in South Korea, the People's Republic of China, Hungary, Indonesia, and the United States.

BF Goodrich - facilities in Tuscaloosa, AL, Wooburn, IN and Opelika, AL

Cooper - The main centers are situated in Findlay, Ohio, Melksham England and Kunshan China.

Big O (made by Cooper)

Yokohama - manufacturing facilities in Salem, Virginia, and another in West Point, Mississippi.

Michelin - (current tires) Michelin produces tires in France, Poland, Spain, Germany, the USA, the UK, Canada, Brazil, Thailand, Japan, India, Italy and several other countries.

So which tire manufacture would you recommend??

Looks like its kind of hard to tell where some of them were made. The Michelins I'm currently running could have been made it China. Are Michelins considered cheap Chinese tires?

I have no desire to buy tires that last 70-80,000 miles. They are made from a hard rubber compound which is why they last soo long.

I would hate to have tires that are hard with 60,000+ plus miles on them to travel on during the winter months.

I much refer to put new tires on my truck in the fall previous to the winter months. I've replaced tires that were not worn out because I didn't want to run then during thru the winter.

There are two reasons that I bought the Michelin Agilis tires.
1. They have 30% more nylon than Michelin's best LT tires. They are LT commercial tires. Better for carrying my camper.
2. They have the snowflake rating so that means they are made of a softer rubber compound which makes them better in the snow than all season and regular AT tires.

Good winter tires are very important to me. More so that tread life.
