toilet replacement

i have a new lance 1050s and being a fair sized dude need to replace the kiddie sized toilet and probably remove the lavatory cabinet for additional room. looks like a simple job but would like to know if anybody has done this and what are the unforseen problems.
  • I thought to try mine out, but my guess based on reading here is that it is somewhat big project. If it is a premade insert, there is probably quite a lot of room to recover.
  • We're having to replace the entire toilet/shower combo due to black tank failure but hey, it's 24 years old. Lid on stool was broken so ordered new one. The low profile and limited space combined with age related issues getting up from sitting position pushed us to order a high profile stool. May lose some accessibility to one under counter door but a small loss for the convenience. Now if they'd just actually deliver the darned stuff. That 2-6 week lead time on these units sucks.
  • Yeah I have the same problem. Im a fairly good size man and I considered it. But then I just decided I dont spend a lot of time sitting on it and a bigger potty would just take up more space in an already cramped wer bath. Not worth it
  • thanks for the reply.
guess no one else ever had this problem
  • I installed this on my Eagle Cap. Can't remeber the model # but so much better. There was barely enough room from the back wall and the toilet actually was touching the wall.

While I was at it I installed an angle stop to be able to shut the water off. This is a new in wall angle stop which is more for new construction but since my father in law invented it I had to put it in my TC.
