I just bought a Sherline #5780 2,000lb tongue weight scale off jet.com for $116 with free shipping. Just in case anybody else is looking for one.

Nah, not "inaccurate", but sometimes just a bit of stiction. The "trick" is to take multiple readings and you'll come up with a pretty good average ... when tongue weight is 900 lbs 30 lbs either way is meaningless.
