Geez Louise! We bought a Class C Winnebago and kept it 10 years, then traded it for our current Airstream. We plan to keep the Airstream till we are too old to RV on our own, 20 years or so!

Well, as our family enlarged and grew up our needs kept changing so we changed trailers quite often. We were (are) stupid, we'd see one we thought would fit us better and figured higher payments would work, that's why we're kinda broke now, now we only buy used for cash. 2008 didn't help at all. That's when we had to sell our 2005 Roadtrek Class B motorhome which we went deeply in debt for (along with the Rainier TT). What we've learned: no trailer is as light as the manufacturer says, used TT's we go look at never look as good in person as they do in the ads, and no trailer has never leaked (every trailer has leaked, is leaking now, or will leak). Luckily I'm quite handy so I've been able to fix them all up, replaced floors, siding, brakes, furnace, hwt, fridge, etc., and caulked them all.

You have received some good input. You didn't indicate some of the things that you may want as well (4 season or not for example). We just moved from a Starcraft hybrid that we had for 10 years with no issues to a 2018 Nash with full size bunk beds. While the Starcraft was trouble free and we had many great memories camping with it, the quality of the Nash is a huge step up. This doesn't apply to the appliances, those are a commodity.

The Nash is heavy but built like a tank. Custom built frame to support off road travel, very well insulted, thermal pane windows etc. If you don't need or want those things, you can certainly find a trailer for less and less weight that will do just fine with the understanding that every manufacturer will have units that just seem to have been built on friday the 13th.

Care of any trailer is what makes it great. Of course some may be better than others, are the start but will go down about like the others ? I say buy what you like and want,the care of it. I have had many brands but can not say which is better. A very expensive trailer is very hard to sell if you want to get rid of it.

We've had a Skyline Aljo TT, KZ-RV 5th wheel, two Jayco 5th wheels and our current Jayco travel trailer for almost two years. They've all been close to trouble free. Any rare minor problems that cropped up I took care of at home. For the money spent, we've been very happy with them.

If I were to buy one now, I would look at used. Less depreciation, manufacturing errors already repaired by dealers. I would also get the name of the previous owner.

You will find that the 'Top Brand", in the opinions of others, will be the brand they currently own. I have owned 5 other brands before settling on my current brand and, all of them were a 'Top Brand' in my eyes at the time. My current brand is Airstream. Through two years of use it has been flawless and is one the best built RV's I have owned. This is my last RV and the one I plan to retire with. It fits our personal needs and will likely outlast me.

Asking for tops brands of TTs is like for top brands of pickup trucks.

However what does 'top' mean ie; sales.....quality......most popular....or what folks just on this one website say.

I've owned three different brands of slide in truck campers and three different brands of rv trailers. We didn't have any more or less fun in any of them.

Find the floor plan you like in a price you can afford....hook up and go camping.

Another vote for Arctic Fox with Outdoors RV being #2. We prefer the Arctic Fox to the Nash because of the fiberglass front cap. With Outdoors RV, we prefer the Timber Ridge to the Creekside for the same reason.
