Nice video (sort of). It's not that easy but showmanship is everything.
Couple comments...
Most importantly, while aluminum is lighter and loos 'pretty' when new and coated, not everyone lives in sunny California and if you live (and haul a TC) where road crews apply sodium chloride or CACL or Brine solution to the roads in the winter, aluminum is not a good alternative because once the coating gets chipped (and it will), electrolysis starts and never quits.
So yes, they are nice but they will corrode and get ugly (just like polished aluminum rims do once the clearcoat is compromised.
