First time poster here. We have a Palomino pop up that we are trading in for a small TT. I am shooting for a camper less than 28', less than 5000lbs and has bunks. We have so far narrowed the field to a Tracer 245 BHS or Kodiak 240BHSL. Both are similar floor plans. I'm looking for the best quality reasonably priced. Would be open to other models that fit these specs too. Trying to pick. Any opinions to help sway my vote? Thanks. David

I say go with the tracer. They are a nice trailer with a 2 yr warranty and are known to have good customer service. Also the weights aren't given on that Kodiak but Kodiak tt tend to run a lower cargo capacity limiting what you might be able to put in it.

What does camping in a tent or whatever have to do with years experience (or almost half of one) with RV's?

I guess if all the forum members were as smart as monkeys we wouldn't need to ask for advice eh? :)

Thanks to all for your input. One more question. I'll be towing this camper 90% of the time to local campgrounds with a Toyota Tacoma rated to 6500lbs. For longer trips I have access to an F150. I've been told a lot of different things on the kind of hitch for the Tacoma. Thoughts?
