This could have turned out really bad:A Liberty County resident, Mr. James Brown , age 75 years old who lives in the CR 2279 area of South Liberty County had a rude awakening around 2:30am this morning when he awoke to someone hooking onto and pulling his 16’ camper trailer out of his driveway while he was still inside. Mr. Brown attempted to turn the inside trailer lights on but the suspect(s) had already disconnected the power to the trailer and were pulling out of the drive way. The owner immediately got on his cell phone and called “911” advising the Sheriff’s dispatcher of his dilemma and the direction of travel of a pick-up truck that was towing him and his trailer south on Hwy. 321 towards the City of Dayton at a high rate of speed.While Mr. Brown and his trailer were being towed, he opened the trailer door and began firing several gun shots at the pick-up truck which then began weaving back and forth across the highway, apparently, in an attempt to throw Mr. Brown from his trailer. How come this happening in Texas (not to mention the idiot trying to shoot at the thief) doesn't surprise me? I wonder how many rounds from his gun found neighbors cars, homes or maybe their pets (assuming that if he had hit people it would've been mentioned).

I tell you what's unbelievable: calling the owner of the trailer the idiot in the situation! But then he who made the comment is from Michigan. So I guess I'm not that surprised.

Really? I'm from Floria and I think he was an idiot too - still surprised?. I guess he was holding his cell phone as he was shooting as he dropped that. And shooting for what reason? to hit the driver? Lets say that he did - now what is the plan? Get on top of the TT and jumop into the TV and take control??? Not sure what you think you can hit leaning out of a door being pulled down the road. His best bet would have been to stay put on keep in contact with the 911 operator.
