My thing here is What are considered to be great Travel Trailer units

Now I had a Keystone Bullet premier in mind but my warden/ Wife put the Kibosh on that one, So, A salesperson had sent me some info on a KZ connect spree C322IKS, a Very nice unit, but is it any good, or any bad? I am green, but just want a great unit.
But I am not about to spend 25k on something that wont last 10 years, I understand there are maintenance things I must perform, but just want the most for my money.

My pulling rig is a 2004 Chevy Avalanche 2500 ๐Ÿ™‚

The Connect has a rounded front so take a shirt on a hanger and see if it will fit the cabinets on each side of the bed.
The NCC of 1350 lbs ain't much. The tires and axles for this size trailer are just too small.
The slide protruding into the awning area reduces the protected area too much.

I would suggest as others by something a few years old and not nearly as expensive do a bit of camping, then look for the dream trailer. You may find there are things you thought you wanted and and dont and things you thought you dont and will require. And for what it is worth, my DW is als the CEO,CFO and am just the lowly ground, maintence, it and food guy.
Happy hunting

Go to www.rv.org (The RV Consumer Group) for their reviews of all/most of the RV's out there. It may cost a few bucks but that's small change compared with buying something that doesn't work out for you.

Sad to hear you crossed the Premier Bullet off the list, we love ours, real nice trailers.

X2. Love ours. No problems with it at all, other than the fact that it's buried under snow right now.

The one thing I have found over the years is that you will not find everything you want in one unit. You can look at one brand and love it and than look at another and love something else about that one. Mine has a full size bathroom that runs across the rear, I love being able to shower and take care of other necessities without leaving the door open. However, I really like having a full size window in the rear with two recliners. You have to figure out what is a necessity and what is a wish. As stated above, all the manufacturers make good units but they also make some not so good ones. My warden loves our unit and the fact that I have to live with her helps me to make decisions, if you know what I mean. Good luck.

Just my opinion, every RV maker will produce some great units and some junk from time to time regardless of where anyone feels they fit into a mythical quality hierarchy. You will need to look at everything that catches your eye with a fine tooth comb. When it gets right down to it most RV's use the same components and appliances regardless of selling price and some of the difference is nothing but fluff.

FWIW, there are two brands with 2 year warranties, KZ and Jayco. I don't think you'll find better factory and dealer support than KZ.

If you go to an RV show, they start to look pretty much the same after a while and can be difficult to differentiate them. If you want to spend more money to get better quality, look at Outdoors RV and Northwood. Both make their own frames which is a good thing.

I had a Keystone Passport and had no problems. I now have a KZ Spree and love it also. KZ is a good name brand. There is always a chance to get a lemon with any brand. I did a lot of research before I bought mine and felt pretty good about the purchase. I have no complaints and we love it. Finding a floor plan you like and a weight you can tow are probably the most important things that will make you happy with what you end up with. There are no makes that are head and shoulders above the others. I have a KZ, love it and would recommend it. I also had a keystone and would recommend one. This is based on my experience, others may disagree.

Any brand or unit can be good or bad quality. YOU should be the person to decide that. Spend time here learning what to look for as far as construction no no's, etc. Most brands are fairly similar. More than brand, you should consider how you will use your new trailer. Will you pull it on many long trips? Or will it be just for weekend getaways? Do you intend to frequent resorts? Or camp off the grid? Will you be using it in extreme weather? Things that I've found to be important are large holding tanks (we boondock a lot), good ground clearance (gets you up and down steep driveways as well as off the beaten path), and room to move around inside (my little trailer is great, except when the kids and pets stretch out the way they ALWAYS do). I guess I'm saying that floorplan and features may be more important than brand.

If I were new to RV'ing, I would purchase a slightly used - 4 to 5 years old that someone else has taken the hit on the price.

That way, if you decide the lifestyle is NOT for you, you won't be out a lot of extra $$$.

After you have RV'd for a year, you will know what you want vs. what you need and what just has looks, but no real purpose.
