Transmission expert question

2000 Dodge 47re transmission 5.9 diesel. How do you know on a rebuild if the old torque converter is a Billet? If it is a Billet are there numbers that indicate if it is a single disc or triple disc? Been on the Dodge Forum and there are still questions.

    As for billet, the body of the TQ if its not painted will be easy to see nice smooth shinny aluminum. if its a triple hard to say would have to know if its a brand name TQ and they may be able to tell you. best guess.
