Travel Lite TC Owners?

If I used one of those custom fit covers when it isn't being used, would that help preserve it?
I was thinking the other day, why don't they use treated wood so that if/when water gets it, the whole structure isn't compromised?
I don't know what's going to happen, Travel Lite still hasn't sent my dealer the replacement siding!!! I guess he's going to have to source his own and get reimbursed. I tell ya, if my dealer wasn't as good of a guy as he is I might be compelled to take a match and lighter fluid to it. And then drop it off at Travel Lite's front door.
