Travel Trailers

Took our new Forest River Flagstaff out on it's maiden voyage to Alaska (another story) that had to be curtailed due to congestive heart failure on my part. Snakebit from the get-go. I think that I may have a cracked frame as the door is hard and at times impossible to close. Hits the top of the opening by 1/2". That and the tanks seem to be way too small. Maybe 1- 1-1/2 showers even using the "navy method. Really lousy trip as it rained and rained some more. Got totally flooded out of Canada and my GPS has "discovered" every back gravel road out of Edmonton and south to Montana. Is it possible a Lippert frame and their inherrent problems? Too much of a "flexy flyer" for this old boy. Going back to where I bought it and see what gives.
  • So sorry to hear of the bad trip, but noting you are still alive, "it could have been worse." Hope you can get the rig straightened out with minimal fuss.
