Respectfully, you have historically posted negatively against the Stable Lift. In my opinion, your post and photos have excluded anything positive on the Stable Lift. Simply stated, it appears to me you have an obsession against anything positive that relates to the Stable Lift. I have observed through the years you find the most negative photos of the Stable Lift, and I do not recall any positive photos you have posted.
Considering your exposure to the Stable Lift is limited and the fact you have never had one, I really do not see much credibility in your post on the subject. I think it is fair for you to say the Stable Lift would not work for you.

Lets clear up some misinformation here. Take a look at these pictures that are hardly the definition of "tucked up nicely". Not my camper but note the corner jack foot in the picture and how much higher it is then the Stabil-lift tube.
And again not exactly "tucked up nicely". I have wheeled my camper in places that those tubes would have taken serious hits from large rocks.
Here is mine and my corner jacks are pretty high off the ground, much more so then any Stabil-lift could ever be.
As to not wheeling in places where the jacks need to come off, a former member here(now passed) Don Curley, did indeed remove his regularly to wheel his truck with the Outfitter on it in some pretty rough terrain. It is a simple procedure to remove them as (at least on Outfitters) there is a plug on the power wires and only a few bolts to deal with.

I have a Stable Lift and wouldn't go back to corner jacks.
The corner jacks are just as vulnerable to off road damage. In fact in some ways the corner jacks are even more vulnerable to damage.
The Stable Lift tucks up pretty nicely and is a LOT stronger and more durable. It can take a pretty good hit that would tear a corner jack right off your camper.
The ultimate would be corner jacks removed while on the truck, but if you're doing that serious off roading you probably won't be carrying a camper.

This may be the genius suggestion...

put it this way. if its sound enough to unload it without it falling apart, someone will want it as a project. I would list it on CL for maybe $500, than see what pans out. you can always lower price or let them talk you down, but you can't change your price up.
also, is the old stable lift system (2, 3, 4 jacks) going to be compatible with the camper you will buy to replace your current camper? If NO, sell it with camper attached :).

Go to a small town dump where its not a zoo. Nice quiet country dump. Set it down on stack of pallets. Take time to remove stable lift system. Dumps heavy equipment rolls it into dump pile.
Don't damage your truck by having it yanked of the bed of the truck, use the stable loads to unload first.

Does anyone know where there's a landfill in WA state that will take a camper? I once went to great effort to crush one into pieces and take it to the local transfer station and had a very hard time getting them to accept it.
The other potential issue is I have no title for it.
The one I want to dump is one I bought in 1999, the owner was somewhat of an aquaintance so I disobeyed Rule Number One and took it with his word that he'd get the title to me. Well it's 17 years later and I'm still waiting!
If I can't properly dispose of it, I could always just abandon it and let the consequences fall on him, the last known registered owner. I'm trying to be nice, but...
