Truck camper question
I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 6 ft bed and airbags. What is the max length of truck camper should I get? And will this particular truck handle the camper? Thanks for any input!

Bigger is better in terms of the truck, but if you have the truck then there are campers that fit short beds, and those that fit short or long beds and will work on your truck since it is equipped with airbags. We purchased a Palomino 1240 and installed Timbrens and it rides beautifully, there are even lighter models in the backpack line. Also Four Wheel Drive campers specialize in light campers that easily fit a 1/2 ton, but they are pricier than the Palomino. Good luck!
