I do care what other think, but net is strange animal and what you see is not necessary what other think.
Too often it take one bully troll to stir the pot, someone not knowing better will agree and the guys who are sober that day are simply not interested in getting between hammer and hard spot.
Bottom line, consider what other say, but don't take it too seriously when you are confident you do the right thing.
