Truck capacity

Ok I want to match a Truck Camper to my 2013 F250 6.7 diesel with 8' bed. There is a sticker on the door that states tire specs and max payload of 2365#s.
Am I to assume that is the max load for the factory supplied tires or for what ever tires are on it? The GVW is 10K for the truck. The axles are front 5900 and rear 6100#. I also want to tow a 28' cargo trailer behind that could weigh up 9100#. Please advise.

It's all okay if the camper manufacturer says it's okay. Like my Lance 815, which overloads my 1 ton single wheel...apparently it's okay for a 1/2 ton.

Nah, you just need really low skid wheels with high speed bearings to carry the excess load.

The point of this thread is to ask about campers, not debate the dually vs SRW thing.

If someone has a dually "and runs in to everything in sight" then they have no business even driving, let alone hauling a camper.

I've never hit anything in 39,645 miles of driving my dually.

When I priced out higher capacity 18" tires and rims, the cost was not that far from 19.5's. If I was going to upgrade and spend the money, I wanted sufficient capacity for the money I was going to spend.

You can go to an aftermarket rim dealer. They have the capability of telling you what the max loading are on their rims. I put a set of American Racing Daggers on my 2500. They are rated for 3900#. The nitto's are only 3750#.

Not unless the wheels are also rated for 3750# .

Ok, I am looking at LT285/70R17 with a load rating of 3750#s. The stock tires are rated at 3195#s so does not that bring the payload level from 2395 to aprox. 3500#s?
