Duramax is totally owned by GM and ALL Duramax engines are made in the USA in Moraine, Ohio by American workers in a GM plant. Got it?

It is made in the states, to my suprise, although it was a joint venture between isuzu who designed it and gm. Hey, they needed some help after the 6.2 and 6.5.
