Who owns and controls Duramax?
Tell the rest of the story and note at the bottom of the page the wages paid to the American workers who make them and the taxes paid by the Ohio plant where they are built that the rest of the American citizens don't have to make up by paying out additional from their present after tax incomes. GM owns and controls Duramax totally and it's only in the US building there of and the profits stay in the USA.
Note that in the previous link posted, there were identical development engines tested in both the USA and Japan. In the USA the engine was coupled to the Allison 1000 transmission for complete driveline actual testing.

About a dozen other documents giving the ownership breakdown since 1997 joint venture formation until today and some which require "passwords" layout the next 4-5 years of what's coming and why they are vastly enlarging the Moraine, Ohio Duramax plant now. No password, no access!
You didn't address "MY question"....look at my post....I resent the fact that you question if one can be a real American if they own a Ram is what I took from your post. I served in the US Air Force, fought in Viet Nam, am as patriotic as they come, anyone that knows me would NEVER question that, and you question if one is a "Real American" if they own a Ram pick up truck????
That sir, is an insult, and I resent it....It could have been worded better, or stated differently, but any Foreign War Veteran on these forums that owns a vehicle not made in the US, should take that as a slap in the face as I did...
