Truck Measurements Resource

Hi,

I haven't been back here since I sold the truck camper and got a fifth wheel. But I know you guys care a lot about certain truck measurements and suffer as the manufacturers toy with them.

I am building a kayak rack for the roof of my truck and since my truck is getting old, I also wanted it to work on newer models perhaps not even Fords (shame on me for saying that:)). The measurements that are critical are:

1. Inside width of bed measured from the inside of the bed top rails at the cab end.

2. Distance from the the bed rail top to the top of the cab roof, that is the highest point of the roof. If this is not available, I could compute it from roof and rail heights from the bed floor.

The Ford site does not include these in specs that I can see. I know they used to publish a truck camper guide. Do any of you know where this kind of information might be collected to help truck camper folks?
