Hi all,
I'm presently looking at two new 2014 TT's. one is Cougar 21rbs and the other is Nash 24M. I could go with either one but I wanted to solicit opinions, as I am a newbe.
The floor plans are similar. I know Nash is made by the same company that makes artic fox and Cougar by Keystone. I know one is wood frame and the other aluminum.
I have no preference for either one right now. The wife likes both. I'm just looking for any info that could be a tie breaker. Any info or comments would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Thanks. Hard decision. The wife likes the amount of counter space in the couger. And does not like the shower curtain in the Nash 23D. I like the floorplan in the Kodiak. I can't argue with city hall though...lol

The Nash is probably built better, but the Cougar should have 4400# axles and 15" wheels at least.

And those are quite different floor plans. The Cougar 21RBSWE has lots of kitchen counter and storage space, dinette in the pull-out, and is only 25'9". The Nash puts a couch in the pull-out and dinette curbside, but is 27'3" and probably a lot heavier.

The Nash floorplan is unique AFAIK. Others have moved the bath to the middle and expanded the kitchen in the rear. Like the Creekside 23RKS (27'6") made by Outdoors RV Mfg (a sister company to Nash and Northwood Mfg, uses Northwood frames).

Nash and her big sister Arctic Fox and cousin Fox Mountain are all made my Northwood Mfg in LaGrande,Oregon. It is a family run privately held company that weathered the last down turn really well. Even expanding their business over the last 5-6 years. Quality is second to none and they are built to last. If you cannot find a dealer within a reasonable distance, give Thunder RV in LaGrande a call and see if they can make it worth your time to drive out here to pick up a new trailer.

Nash is made in LaGrande , Oregon .
Arctic Fox is is a fully loaded up Nash .
They are a well built brand .
There is a competing brand , Komfort made in Milwaukie , OR also that is very well constructed .
All three are more suitable for 3 /4 ton pickups due to weight .
My perception is that there are more 3 /4 ton pickups out west .

I don't believe I've ever seen a Nash TT. Is it a small company? Do many dealers sell them?

When I think of Nash I think of the car from 50 years ago!

Dutchman is on par with Keystone.

Nash are much better built than either Dutchman or Keystone.

The prices I've seen are all in the same ballpark.
Does anyone have any info on kodiak 242. Is Dutchmen on a par with either Nash or Keystone?

Easy.....Go with Nash. They're built stronger and the quality is evident!
