If that's one of those big Caterpillars, they have a payload capacity of 360-400 short tons. The gross operating weight is 1.2 - 1.3 million pounds according to wikipedia.

In related news.... I keep seeing the new MB Actross going through Freightliner's testing rounds around Oregon. Wonder if we will be seeing a new Argossy replacement stateside?
