I wrapped my microlite with mineral wool insulation Of course leaving all areas where the air flows and exhaust areas. This made my generator on my class c incredibly quiet. Mineral wool does not burn until over 2000 degrees and does not mold or absorb water. Pack a little around your generator I think you would be pleasently suprised.
