Upholstery material
We have a 2012 Avalanche. Every other one we have had we got leather seats. In this one we got fabric. We thought it would be nicer. When it is -30C or -22 F leather takes a long time to warm up even with heated seats.
Anyway, we started getting white spots on the seats. We couldn't figure out what it was from. We asked the dealer this last week after 2 years of it getting worse. He said that GM was having issues with this. It is water spots. My hubby always has a bottle of coke with him. He sits it between his legs while driving. As water drips from the cold container then dries it leaves white spots. It does not look nice on the seat.
We have tried to clean it but no luck. I feel that since GM are having an issue then this should be a warranty issue. What do you think? We go back up to the dealer this next week and I will present the question.
