I have a travel trailer so I can travel. The no water folks seen to get a trailer so that it is bigger than the one parked next to them. Whatever floats your boat.

I will enjoy it, thanks. Camping for us means RV parks AKA glamping. We would have specific destinations that we would set up shop upon arrival. If we ever went full time I may have to take that into consideration. Until then, thanks for your advice but what we plan to do doesn't have to make sense to anyone but us. Your worksheet has been helpful in our planning ahead. Your criticism as evidenced above, not so much.

Can't speak for anyone else but this no water person just wants a trailer that had everything we want/need. Sacrificing water we wouldn't use on the road but can get when needed seems like fair deal to me.

Got it. if that's what it takes to get the amenities and floorplan we want, then yes. this is the model we have out sights on for now. If another one comes out that can accommodate carrying water, we'll see at that time. As for roadside stops, we haven't had that ability up to this point so we can't miss what we didn't have. We'll continue to stop at rest stops and other facilities.
Obviously you disagree but paying this much for any trailer and not being able to use all that it offers anywhere you want at any time makes no sense to me. :R Secondly, by using all the trailer's CCC you won't have any buffer between it's GVW loaded & ready to camp and it's maximum rated GVWR - the entire suspension / running system will always be operating at maximum rated load. ๐ Your choice - enjoy having to fill & purge your system of air before every use. ๐

This is the model my wife and I planned to get but circumstances got in the way. There didn't seem to be too many people that had much experience with that model even on the venture forums. It's a great floorplan and maybe next year we can move on one.

Only 1300 lbs CCC for such a large trailer, some of which will be lost right off the top by adding batteries?!! Account for some water to keep the system functioning and one would be lucky to have 1000 lbs available for everything else. Yikes! :E

Can't we travel without water? That was my plan when the day comes.
