We've narrowed it down to TWO! Any opinions?
Our long search has been narrowed. Our family of four is purchasing a new bunkhouse. Our tow vehicle will be a Tundra pickup.
The first is a cherry colored Winnebago Minnie 2451bhs. Very well appointed with all the options including Bluetooth stereo, option to hang the tv on the outside wall, power 19' awning, alum. wheel, and a partition to block the master bedroom from the dining area. This model is aluminum framed with wood studs and rafters.
The second is a KZ Spree 231bhs. This model has a large rear door that allows access to the rear bunk area to store bikes. The trailer has two entry doors and 4 more windows than the Minnie and has a slightly roomier dinette. There is no permanent master bedroom separation, only an accordion style curtain,( could this be a plus as it opens up the trailer to make it appear more roomy?). The awning is NOT electric and it has steel wheels. The unit is built with a full aluminum cage frame.
Both units are priced at 66% of their original retail with the Spree being $1400 cheaper than the Winnie.
We are new to this, any opinions will be greatly appreciated.
