I have seen several bicycles on the road from RV'S, some with the carrier and part of the bumper, spare tires not as much they tend to roll into the ditch. Neighbor works for the highway dept and has a collection of RV spare tires.
Kansas roads must be a lot rougher than those in Illinois, although I find that hard to believe. Worked on the highways for forty years and never encountered bicycles or spare tires and their mounts from RV's on the roadway or in the ditches. Lots of other stuff. We got to where we could tell how many miles to McDonalds by the size of the drink cups along the highway. The larger ones went farther.
