You need to come over East a lot further, lots of rough roads in PA, WV, VA, NC and SC..
10 yrs ago, WV Turnpike road was so bad the mirror in the bathroom was partially ripped off the wall.. That road is still rough in places but they have made some improvements, can't say I have seen any other improvements on the other states roads I mentioned..
The newest rage is to mill a 1' to 2' wide strip of pavement for miles at a time, fill it in very uneven.. Do it in the center, and sides and call the road good..
Then you will get pieces of pavement popping out into massive craters BESIDE the new strips of pavement during the winter!
You guys are lucky to have properly paved smooth roads..
