Does it even move in 1st gear? Those 6-speeds have a massively tall 1st gear, which combined with the 4.10 axle ratio, should have the truck wound out and shifting into 2nd at about 3mph... Sheesh.

Thank you all. It should handle my currant tt well as the scale said it is only about 6300 completely loaded and ready to camp. I also have to reset up my hitch. I don't think I will need much of the wd part of the hitch.

Yes, congratulations on the new truck! It should serve you well!
Buy the way White is the color that shows dirt the least! Black and darker colors are the worst. Great color choice.

Congrats, you will love the 6.0 with the 6 speed auto. I can tell u that it will be a world of difference from the older 5.3 and 4 speed. I did the same and have never looked back. I don't recal the wieght that ur pulling. When I pull I always lock out 6th gear and use 5th with tow haul mode. In the hills you will see 4th. But the other real advantage is the capacity that u gained from 1/2 ton to 3/4 ton. U will notice it when pulling. My wife stated that the current 09 felt like a strong truck compared to the 02 it replaced. The nice feature is the ability to use the toggle method and choose the gear when u hit any hills. Anyway enjoy you're new truck, congrats. Oh on edit.... That 4x4 will come in real handy when u need it. Great choice!
