Well who knew that deciding was this tough!!!

Ok,, so I have pretty much lost my mind trying to decide on which TT to get.
Seriously how many floor plans can one look at without going bonkers?

So this week the plan is to buy a Roo 21dk. My question is. Where should we look? I know RV Wholesale and Rv direct but I do not think they have any in stock and I do not want to wait 8 weeks.
I have put in the search at Forest River website for dealers,, Seems like we only have 2 within 400 miles that carry Roo's. YIKEs!
I live in North Louisiana. Anyone have any suggestions?
  • I was going to suggest do what the Kieva's suggest for choosing an RV but you have already decided. But just in case you are still open pretend you already have the RV and go thru a day while you are inside the RV to see if works. Yes, this takes time but it's a big investment and you don't want a rig that doesn't meet your needs.
Can you use the potty while on the road? the refrigerator?

X2. Had we done this when we bought our HTT, we wouldn't have been out $6K when we shortly realized we needed to upgrade to a larger TT.
  • Dick, most of the hybrids have access to the bathroom and fridge easily while over the road. The most troubled is the dual slide 23IKSS hybrid similar to any dual island kitchen slide TT with only one access door.
  • Sheripoms, What is your Tow Vehicle? You get all of the creature comforts in a HTT as you would in the TT. Bathroom is accessible. Frig runs on battery and propane for electricity. If you are unsure of HTT vs TT, ask yourself some of these questions. Do you plan to winter camp or cold weather camp? Now the HTT open, is probably 25 - 26 feet in length. Can you get a comparable TT with a similar layout and as much space and at what cost? Price, Weight and Tow vehicle are all factors. When we started, I had an SUV, GMC Envoy which pulled the HTT fine but getting a TT was not an option due to weight restrictions. Where to buy? Who ever has the best price but the real question is who is going to service it especially when it comes to warranty issues or arguing over warranty issues. Does RVT and RV Wholesalers have a good reputation for taking care of their customers? I'd go local and see if they can match it or at least come close. Sometimes there are added benefits to going to your local Retail Center.
