What Did You Do For Your Travel Trailer Recently?

I didn't see a thread by this name, so I thought I'd start one.

What did you do for your travel trailer recently? What new gadget, modification or kindness have you shown to your trailer lately?

I got a Camco Tri Leveler leveling block and I also bought a Camco RV Water Filter and a new front porch mat

Quite simple mod.

1. I first determined where the studs were by tapping around on the outside. Then drilled a 2" hole ( I think that was the size) through the outside wall.

2.Cut an opening in the inside wall about 6 inches to the side of the outside hole for the inside plug outlet and box.

3.Snaked a 12/2 wire from outside over to inside hole.

4.Connected outside receptical to wire and mounted it on wall.

5.Connected inside receptical to wire and mounted it on the wall.

6.Checked wiring job with outlet checker - everything showed ok.

6.Plugged in the heater and it worked fine! ๐Ÿ™‚

With all the cool weather we have had down here in Florida, we needed a way to run our electric heater without going through the trailers electrical system. I put in a waterproof outside receptical and inside outlet in the side of our slide out. Now we can run the electric heater without worrying about tripping the trailers breaker.
Works great!

Replaced the storage compartment incandescent light with an LED fixture, added a trailer plug holder to the trailer tongue, installed a water system accumulator tank, installed a digital TV signal system for over air TV, custom made and installed TV remote control holder, installed an LED flood light to the front of the trailer for nighttime. That's it for now.

This spring will repair a nick in the awning and re-cement a small portion of the bathroom ceiling. With that we'll be ready to hit the road again.

We went out - all of about 30' through the garage - and just visited Rocky. He's lonely. Looks sad. Furnace had it toasty and comfy in no time at all. Played some Scrabble, had our lunch, contemplated a mod to the shower, contemplated a new thermostat, wished this @%&^ weather would improve so we could actually get out and enjoy it. Looked at the box with the 2 new vent covers waiting to be installed. Comfirmed that we do LOVE Rocky and came back inside and called it a day. Darn.

Another upgrade, we bought a new lot for our TT. It is now on a spot with a wonderful view of the lake, beach access down a few steps and we have two beautiful decks and a gazebo too! I just wish I still had my Hannah to go with.

We did so much this weekend, but I didn't get photos yet of all of it.
Put in new stairs for the existing smaller deck.

Put in a recessed toilet paper roll dispenser. Now no one will bump into it.
Put railings on the bunks for the grandkids.
Husband built a shelf for the Directv and DVD players, looks nice.
Replaced original shower head with the body spa shower head, that is a huge upgrade!
Also put in the tv for the bunk room, husband had to put supports on the inside of the cabinet for that, what a pain in the you-know-what.
We did a bunch of stuff last weekend, but eventually we will get this new TT like home.
