I didn't see a thread by this name, so I thought I'd start one.

What did you do for your travel trailer recently? What new gadget, modification or kindness have you shown to your trailer lately?

I got a Camco Tri Leveler leveling block and I also bought a Camco RV Water Filter and a new front porch mat

I just bought a 160w portable solar panel kit.
Now it just needs to warm up so I can try them out. And go camping of course.

Just bought this trailer new in January... Been hunkered down waiting on winter to end. Finally pulled the trailer out of storage for a few days to make a few mods.

#1 was a surge protector/voltage monitor. Progressive industries HW50C

This one has a remote display... Mounted it here:

Before

And after:

#2 was a whole house water filter...

Before

And after

Wander what tomorrow will bring?

Lippert replaced the lightweight axles Heartland installs on these NorthTrail units. The axles bent destroying all 4 tires. To save money HL used axles that were too lightwight for a 28' TT. We replaced all four ruined tires. HL refused any responsibility. THANK YOU LIPPERT!

Friday night...I took DS to our local state park for 1 night. Weather was gorgeous.

Yesterday afternoon...I washed a little over half the trailer, and I adjusted the fridge electrode so it will self-light.

Do you have a link or pic of this? Sounds perfect - we are moving into seasonal site and no sheds allowed either.

We just found a Rubbermaid utility shed which fits perfectly on our bumper rack without blocking the back window. No more fighting the lawn chairs in and out of the basement storage area. I like to put everything away before we leave, and this will make it super convenient.

No, we don't travel with such a thing, because we don't travel. Sheds are not allowed on our seasonal site, but this is.

Do you have a pic or link for that?

Thanks.

I'm a little link-illiterate, and I don't know the exact model the DH bought but you can Google "deck box" to find similar items.

Bought and put away all the pantry items we always have on hand. DH reinforced the area under the shower that felt spongy - not a defect exactly and perfectly safe, but foam that squished down after standing on it....problem solved. Finished a cute little decorative wall décor and got it put up. Cancelled shakedown plans due to predicted lousy weather which never happened, ugh! Almost ready for FL!!! Play Ball!

Last week I installed a Husky Brute Model HB4500R power jack, with 4,500 lb. capacity, 2-1/4? dia. with wireless remote, and SmartStop™.

This week it's snowing. I'll have to wait to go camping.

Next up: an awning for the slide. Will order one soon.

Moved the bunk bed over the queen bed up 10" and added a couple of led reading lights on the bottom of the bunk (now really a big shelf). Now you can sit up in the queen bed! DW says YAY!

Added shelves to a couple of cupboards.

Added a digital DC voltmeter to my status panel.

Knocked the panel out and made a "gizmo" box for the cabinet below the sink.
